US filmfest to host ‘Your Snapp (Taxi) Arrived’

Iranian short title ‘Your Snapp (Taxi) Arrived’ (Snapp-e Shoma Resid) has made it to the IndieFEST Film Awards in the US.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Your Snapp (Taxi) Arrived’, written and directed by Sara Aqa-Babaee, will be screened at the 11th edition of the US festival.

The film is starring Shaqayeq Faryadshiran and Mehrzad Nour-Hosseini.

The IndieFEST “discovers and honors the achievements of filmmakers who produce high quality films and new media”, according to an online film submission platform.

The event’s primary goal is to serve filmmakers. It “strives to give talented directors, producers, actors, creative teams and new media creators the positive exposure and credibility they deserve”.

The 11th IndieFEST Film Awards is scheduled for May 5, 2020.
